Route SelectedThree corridor variants under evaluation
A planned high-speed line completing the Stuttgart–München corridor, reducing Ulm–Augsburg travel time from 44 to roughly 26 minutes. The existing 19th-century route is limited to 160–200 km/h with mixed traffic. The route alignment is currently under evaluation with three corridor variants; no construction date or cost estimate has been confirmed.
