The German rail hinterland connection for the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link tunnel between Germany and Denmark. The project upgrades and electrifies 88 km of rail between Lübeck and Puttgarden, including new double-track sections and station modifications. Together with the Danish tunnel, it will dramatically cut Hamburg–Copenhagen travel times.
