The German approach route to the Brenner Base Tunnel, connecting München with the Austrian border near Kufstein via a new 54 km line including long tunnels through the Inntal. Essential for unlocking the capacity of the Brenner Base Tunnel (under construction, AT/IT). The preferred route was selected in 2023 after years of regional consultation.
